Bring your own ski or snowboard, boots and it is also a good idea to bring layers of clothing for extreme temps., including goggles, hat, and winter walking boots. Also repair kit for your equipment would be great idea.

We do NOT yet have any demo or rental ski/snowboards at this point.  No alternate boots or bindings are available either, and your preparation is the key.

All guests must have an avalanche transceiver which they are required to wear during their day of skiing/boarding. Whether you are a pro at transceiver use or new to the device a mandatory training session and practice avalanche scenario are given before you go out for the first day.

Shovels and probes are carried by the guides and in guest packs, which will be provided.  One or two packs will be given to one of the guests and you could put themos or snacks in those packs.  Instruction on how to use it during the orientation.

パーティに一つまたは二つお渡しするゲストパックにはシャベルとプローブが入っております。ゲストパックにお茶や行動食など入れて頂いても結構です。また、朝のオリエンテーションでビーコンの使い方を含めセーフティトークをガイドの方からさせて頂きます。

 An average vert. per day ranges between 3,000 to 3,600m.  Average ski days are between 5-6 runs depending on your group.

Well, quite cold up here but it definetely makes TENGU Snowcat Tours be pretty close to the most pure skiing experience one can find today, an epic mountain, bountiful snowfall (the deep and light Hokkaido kind!), and none of the distractions of other ski areas (crowds!).”  Be aware of the temps. around -15°C or colder.

厳冬期はかなり寒いです。マイナス15°くらいからそれ以上寒くなる事もあります。ただ、そのおかげで道内一とも言われるパウダーが味わえるのです。

You'll get hot lunch and water at Mountain Hut, which are included in the tour but always good to have some water and snacks with you.  The lunch would be like Genghis Khan (Mongolian mutton barbecue) or other local favorites.  At Mountain hut, there is a vending machine available for some vebarages.

There is only ONE to get some staff, A Coop store, but check out the open hours (usually open daily till 18:00) beforehand.  There is also Michi-no-Eki「Shirataki」along the way to get here（open for 9:00 to 18:00 daily）.

Yes, indeed.  We do have a tune-up room that provides waxing iron, wax, and other tool for all clients.  

ご安心ください。ワックスもその他の道具もあります。ただ、ホットワックスは時間がかかるので日帰りのお客様にはお勧めできません。

Any wax for cold and dry environment would be working the best up here.  In the middle of Jan., snow surface temp. is like -10°C or colder at the base of 690m.  

低温・低湿度用のワックスが一番いいと思います。こちらはハイシーズン（1月中頃）で麓の690mで雪面温度がマイナス10°以下です。相応のワックがあると板も滑ります。

We've just started selling alchol beverages but only Beer at the moment.  500 yen per a 500ml can.  700 yen per a bottle.

今のところビール（発泡酒ではございません！）のご用意しかできませんが、500ml缶で500円、瓶ビールは700円で販売させて頂いております。

また、販売は宿泊の方の夕食時のみとしております。昼食時にはご提供しておりません。
